Holiday Effervescence

Word of the Day: Merry |ˈmerē|
adjective ( merrier , merriest )
cheerful and lively : the narrow streets were dense with merry throngs of students

It is Christmas morning! While I do not celebrate Christmas, I cannot deny this electric energy in the air. Today, I am feeling grateful. Grateful for my family, friends, and the technology that enables me to communicate with them whenever I wanted. I am grateful for the iPhone. For those who know me, know that my love for the iPhone is no hidden secret.

So thank you iPhone for allowing me to send my merry Christmas wishes to my friends, telling my mom (who lives in Cairo) that Giada De Laurentiis is making Orzo Stuffed Peppers on the Food Network, sending my condolences to a dear friend, and finally writing this blog.

I came to Canada 6 years ago, and I've never had a larger phone bill.

And, who does iHumor better than MadTV?

Let it snow! A little more! Okay, that's good enough

Word of the day: Immaculate |iˈmakyəlit|
adjective(esp. of a person or their clothes) perfectly clean, neat, or tidy animmaculate white suit.

So it started snowing in beautiful Victoria a couple of days ago ... and then it snowed again, and again, and again. Now it is very important to note that I am not complaining. I've stopped complaining about the weather after realizing that I couldn't communicate with the weather gods, and that rain was just water drops.

Here are a couple of pictures of Aslan (my Samoyed), and the house covered by snow -- notice the immaculate shoveling job.

P.S. Happy Birthday Grandma, will always remember you!
